Santa Cruz Guitar Company founder Richard Hoover studied guitar with Happy Traum’s book “Fingerpicking Styles for Guitar” when he was a teenager in the 1960s, and much to his delight, decades later, Happy began playing Santa Cruz instruments. Now, Santa Cruz has introduced the HT/13, a signature model based on the Santa Cruz H-13 guitar. In this video, Happy Traum demonstrates the guitar and talks about his friendship with Richard Hoover.
