Peghead Nation mandolin instructor John Reischman is not only one of the most highly-regarded bluegrass and old-time players, several of his original tunes have also become part of the repertoire. In this video, shot in 2019 at Northfield Mandolin’s Marshall Mandolin Summit, John plays his tune “Little Pine Siskin,” which he also teaches in his Melodic Mendolin Tunes course on Peghead Nation.
