Shubb C1 | Shubb Capos

For more than 40 years, Shubb's standard design has been a favorite choice for pickers everywhere.
June 23, 2023

First introduced in 1979 (check out this article for a great look at the company’s beginnings!), the standard Shubb C1 capo is still going strong. Now upgraded with the roller mechanism that was first introduced on the Shubb Deluxe capo, the C1 continues to be the choice of guitarists who like it for its quick installation, ability to adjust tension, and tuning stability. While the standard C1 fits most steel-string acoustic and electric guitars, there are also variations for nylon-string guitar (C2), 12-string guitar (C3), vintage Fender-style guitars (C4), as well as versions for banjo/mandolin (C5), ukulele (C9), and for partial capoing applications (C7 and C8).
