When New York-based guitarist Lisa Liu was recently on a trip to San Francisco, a visit with fellow Santa Cruz Guitar artist James Nash was high on her agenda. Of course a visit between two guitarists tends to lead to a jam, and before long, James moved part of his home studio onto his outside deck for a Covid-safe video session. In this video, Lisa and James play a spontaneous duet version of the Thelonious Monk standard “Blue Monk,” using their Santa Cruz OM guitars.
