A New Era Begins | Huss & Dalton

The Huss & Dalton Guitar Company was founded by Jeff Huss and Mark Dalton in 1995. After three decades of passion, craftsmanship, and leadership, Mark and Kimberly Dalton are officially retiring from the company on Sept. 26, 2025. Along with Jeff Huss, who retired in 2021, they leave behind a legacy of artistry and dedication that has shaped the brand into one of the most respected names in the industry. With their retirement, long-time partner Brian Dickel will assume sole ownership of the company, carrying forward the vision and standards that have long defined Huss & Dalton since its founding. Under Brian’s leadership, the commitment to impeccable quality, innovation, and excellence remains unwavering. Players and collectors alike can rest assured that every instrument bearing the Huss & Dalton name will continue to embody the same meticulous craftsmanship, tonal brilliance, and timeless beauty that the Daltons helped establish, while also looking ahead to new opportunities for growth and refinement. The dedicated and highly skilled team behind these guitars remains the same with the addition of Jenny Buchanan filling many roles around the office. The Daltons will certainly leave a void as friends and mentors but we’re honored to be the ones to fill it up and carry on the Huss & Dalton name.
