The New Respects are the Fitzgerald twins, Alexandria (“Zandy”) and guitar and Alexis on bass, with their brother Darius on drums and cousin Jasmine Mullen on vocals and guitar. The family grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, surrounded by all of the music that flows through that hub. The New Respects fuses a lot of the styles that latter-day Nashville has embraced, with their own blend of rock, pop, soul, and a few country touches.

Zandy recently visited Martin Guitars and played a solo acoustic version of “What Makes the World,” a song off of the band’s 2018 album Before the Sun Goes Down.
