Eric Skye and Jamie Stillway, “Red Haired Boy” | Santa Cruz Guitars

Pacific Northwest duo flatpicks the jam session favorite on a pair of Santa Cruz guitars.

Pacific Northwest guitarists Eric Skye and Jamie Stillway, known for their great fingerstyle playing, have both been focusing on their flapicking chops, which they display on their two duo albums, 2021’s Home on the Midrange and 2023’s Over the Waterfall. In this video, which Eric produced in his home studio, Eric and Jamie play the jam favorite “Red Haired Boy,” also featured on Over the Waterfall.  Eric is using his Santa Cruz 00-SKYE signature model, and Jamie is playing her custom redwood-topped Santa Cruz 000.
