Brittany Haas has become one of the most visible fiddlers in the American music scene, with a new gig as a member of Chris Thile’s Prairie Home Companion band, as well as recent tours with Gillian Welch and others. In her Fiddle Styles Workshop for Peghead Nation, she hosts 15 of the world’s best fiddlers, in a variety of styles, as they talk about their fiddling and teach their favorite tunes. Brittany also teaches nine of her own favorite tunes in the course, including this old-time tune, “Willow Creek,” which she learned from the playing of fiddler James Bryan.
