John Reischman, Scott Nygaard, Sharon Gilchrist, Joe K. Walsh: “The Eighth of January”
A three-mandolin, one-guitar version of the popular fiddle tune, played by the instructors at the first Peghead Nation Mandolin Camp.
While at our first Peghead Nation Mandolin Camp in 2017, instructors Sharon Gilchrist, John Reischman, and Joe K. Walsh, and Scott Nygaard treated students to this rousing version of the fiddle tune “The Eighth of January.” It was a fun highlight of the event, which was held near Yosemite, California. Students spent four days immersing themselves in great instruction, with rotating classes with all instructors.
