Peghead Nation instructors play a jazz-infused duo version of a classic Bill Monroe waltz.
Here’s a fine Peghead-instructor pairing. Matt Munisteri and Joe K. Walsh played a series of duo concerts, and they spent some time in Portland, Maine, rehearsing for upcoming shows. In this video taken during their rehearsals, Matt and Joe play Bill Monroe’s popular “Kentucky Waltz,” a bluegrass classic, and take it in a fun, jazz-influenced direction.
