Peghead Nation banjo instructor Bill Evans has long played with one of the original masters of flatpicking guitar, Dan Crary, getting together each year to tour California and beyond. This year, they’ve done a string of shows with bass player and singer Wally Barnick and will continue to play as a trio this fall (see dancrary.com for dates).
In this video, Crary, Evans & Barnick play a great arrangement of the classic bluegrass song ”Long Journey Home,” which has been recorded by the Monroe Brothers, Stanley Brothers, Doc Watson, and many others.
