Berkeley, California’s Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse recently hosted a star-studded evening of music benefiting Bill and Kathy Evans’ family. Peghead Nation banjo instructor Bill Evans appeared onstage throughout the evening with numerous musicians, including flatpicking maestro Dan Crary and songwriting guru Steve Spurgin.
