Sean McGowan: “Get Me to the Church on Time”
Fingerstyle jazz guitar master plays his arrangement of the “My Fair Lady” classic.

Denver, Colorado-based guitarist and educator Sean McGowan is best-known for his brilliant fingerstyle jazz playing. He recently released My Fair Lady, an album of arrangements from the well-known musical, and stopped by the Peghead Nation video studio to record a segment for Advanced Fingerstyle Workshop. In his workshop segment, Sean teaches two comprehensive lessons on jazz-blues comping and jazz-blues bass lines. He also discusses his gear and performs a couple of tunes from his My Fair Lady album, “On the Street Where You Live,” and “Get Me to the Church on Time,” which is featured in this video.
