When Mike Witcher was in the Peghead Nation studio recording lessons for his popular Dobro Workshop course, he played this stunning solo version of the traditional folk song “Shenandoah,” which he also teaches in his course.
Mike plays the tune “rubato” or without a regular pulse, with a lot of Dobro flourishes, and with an improvised section in the middle of a performance of the tune.
Learn this tune and many more in Mike’s Dobro Workshop course, and get started on the instrument in Mike’s Beginning Dobro course.
