Mike Compton and Joe Newberry passed through Northern California while on tour in 2019 and stopped by Peghead Nation HQ to play a few tunes. In this video, they play a great version of “Last Chance,” an old-time banjo classic from Virginia musician Hobart Smith.

For more from Joe and Mike, check out Compton and Newberry Livea 2013 release from Mike and Joe playing songs from the 1930s and ’40s, when brother duet music was transforming into bluegrass.
