When Aaron Weinstein was in the Peghead Nation studio recording lessons for his Chord Melody Mandolin course, he played “Pennies from Heaven,” one of the most popular jazz standards, and one of the tunes he teaches in his course. The song was introduced by Bing Crosby in the 1936 film of the same name, and recorded by Billie Holiday in the same year. Aaron’s take on this song is a beautiful example of the chord melody style that he teaches in his course.
