Peghead Nation co-founder performs the O’Carolan classic at the 2026 Zihuatanejo guitar festival.
Peghead Nation co-founder Teja Gerken just returned from participating in the 2026 Zihuatanejo International Guitar Festival. Held in the Pacific coast resort town of Zihuatanejo, Mexico, the week-long festival was in its 22nd edition, and featured artists from Mexico, as well as Argentina, Canada, Cuba, Italy, and the US. In this video, Teja plays Turlough O’Carolan’s “Si Bheag Si Mhor” during his show at the Zihuatanejo Casa de la Cultura. Teja plays his 1994 Taylor 712c in CGCGCD tuning.
