A trio with two of our mandolin instructors and our co-founder and guitar instructor? We’re in. John Reischman, Sharon Gilchrist, and Scott Nygaard, collectively known as Harmonic Tone Revealers, recently played a few concerts in Northern California, including an evening at the San Rafael home of guitarist Joe Helm. During that performance, they played this fun version of “It’s My Lazy Day,” which was written by Smiley Burnett in the 1940s and has been covered by many since, including Scott and The Websters on their album Ten Thousand Miles.
To learn mandolin with John, sign up for his course, Melodic Mandolin Tunes.
And get started on mandolin with Sharon’s courses, Beginning Mandolin and Intermediate Bluegrass Mandolin.
Learn guitar with Scott in any of his four courses: Roots and Bluegrass Rhythm Guitar, Intermediate Flatpicking Guitar, Flatpicking Guitar, or Weekly Guitar Workout.
