Arpeggios are the focus of this week’s exercises. Ethan shows you how arpeggiated forms of the I, IV, and V chords (C, F, and G) in the key of C. For the I and IV chords, you’ll add additional notes in the chord above and below the basic arpeggios. Note that you can play a full two-octave arpeggio of the V (G) chord in the first position. Then you’ll learn some arpeggios for two other common chords in the key of C: ii (Dm) and vi (Am).
