When the Covid pandemic shut down much of the music community as we know it, guitarist and songwriter Molly Tuttle took the time to dig into some of the songs that have formed her wide-ranging taste into one of the most compelling roots music journeys of recent years. With those songs as inspiration, she taught herself to use ProTools and recorded the enticing album of covers called …but I’d rather be with you.

Molly has now followed up with a 3-song addendum to that album, titled …but I’d rather be with you, too. On this latest release, she plays a cover of the Sheryl Crow hit “Strong Enough,” joined by the talented songwriter Madison Cunningham, and the two play that song in this video.

The guitar Molly is playing is a Molly Tuttle Signature Model (DMT-SMA) from Preston Thompson Guitars, a dreadnought built with Adirondak spruce top and sinker mahogany back and sides, and featuring a beautiful Vintage Brown sunburst.
