Stringjoy has introduced a line of flatwound guitar strings. Available in Super Light (.009 – .042), Light (.010 – .048), Medium (.011 – .050) and Heavy (.012 – .052) gauges, the strings are made with stainless steel and are especially suited of electric and archtop guitars. In this video, Stringjoy artist Alex Farran discusses what he likes about the new strings and demonstrates their tone with a The Loar acoustic archtop.
