Taylor Trey Hensley Gold Label 510e Special Edition
The flatpicking star’s new signature model combines a square-shoulder dreadnought body with Taylor’s advanced Gold Label features.
Grammy-winning guitarist Trey Hensley has emerged as one of the leading flatpickers of his generation. A long-time Taylor player, he now collaborated with Taylor’s Andy Powers to create a signature model. Combining a traditional square-shouldered dreadnought body (built with a torrefied Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides) with the advanced Fanned V-Class bracing, adjustable Action Control neck, and other features found on Taylor’s Gold Label models, the guitar is a true fusion of old and new (look for some additional Gold Label dreadnought models soon). L.R. Baggs Anthem SL electronics round out the package. In this video, San Francisco Bay Area flatpicking expert Jim Nunally and Peghead Nation’s Teja Gerken demonstrate the guitar.
