Taylor Doyle Dykes Signature Model

Taylor’s Legacy series brings back a unique fingerstyle guitar.

Taylor’s Legacy Collection celebrates earlier versions of some of the company’s most successful designs. Built like Taylors from the 1990s to the 2000s, the guitars feature X-bracing and body styles that aren’t available in more recent models. The latest model is a reissue of the Doyle Dykes Signature Model, originally released in 2000. Check out this video on Doyle’s YouTube channel to hear him talk about the project. Featuring a grand auditorium body with a shallower depth than other Taylors in that style, the guitar has a short scale, a slim-carve neck, Florentine cutaway, and appointments that include Gretsch-style position markers. Built with a spruce top, maple back and sides, and finished in translucent orange, the guitar offers an appearance, sound, and playability like no other Taylor.
