KLŌS F-Style Mandolin

A great carbon-fiber mandolin that’s based on the traditional F-style design.

Having announced its plans to add an F-style mandolin to its offerings of carbon-fiber instruments a while ago, KLŌS finally unveiled the new model at the recent 2026 NAMM show, where we had a chance to get a preview. We were impressed with the KLŌS A-Style mandolin, so we happily obliged when the Utah-based company offered to send us one of the very first F-styles they built. Constructed completely out of carbon fiber, the F-Style follows traditional dimensions and feels much like a conventional F-style mandolin. Our demo instrument included the optional gold hardware and KLŌS EQ electronics, which consists of a pair of transducer pickups mounted inside the top, and a preamp with controls for volume, EQ, and built-in chromatic tuner. The instrument also came in the KLŌS fiberglass hardshell case, which will be included at no extra charge with the first 50 instruments that are shipped (it will be a $250 option for later orders).
