KLŌS 12-String Grand Cutaway

A carbon-fiber 12-string with a powerful sound and great playability.

Utah-based KLŌS first made its name with rugged travel guitars, and it now offers a full range of guitars, as well as mandolins, ukuleles, and basses. The company builds its instruments with carbon fiber, and their designs take advantage of the material’s structural properties, which include being virtually impervious to fluctuations in temperature and humidity. We were impressed when we checked out the KLŌS Carbon Fiber Grand Cutaway, and we just had a chance to put the 12-string version through its paces. Our demo guitar features the optional Carbon Timber construction, which uses a nickel-infused unilateral weave resembling wood grain and offers a warmer tonality than the standard carbon-fiber alternative. This demo guitar also includes the optional L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup package. In this video, Peghead Nation’s Teja Gerken demonstrates the guitar.
