Scroggins and Rose: “Marvel”

Tristan Scroggins and Alisa Rose play a new original composition in the Peghead Nation studio.
By: Dan Gabel
April 23, 2019

The duo of Scroggins and Rose is mandolinist Tristan Scroggins and violinist Alisa Rose, each accomplished musicians with busy performance, recording, and teaching schedules. Together, they fuse their skills in composition and improvisation, as heard on their first album, Grana, which explored the creative edges of traditional tunes and classical pieces.

They are in the studio again, recording their second album, which will include several new original compositions. Before heading to their Nashville recording sessions, Scroggins and Rose stopped by Peghead Nation and played one of those original tunes, “Marvel.” Enjoy and watch for more Scroggins and Rose videos coming up on Peghead Nation.
