Bruce Molsky, Greg Liszt, Miranda Henne: “Polly Put the Kettle On”
Our Old-Time Fiddle instructor plays a trio version of a classic old-time tune.
When Bruce Molsky was in the studio recently recording new lessons for his popular Old-Time Fiddle course on Peghead Nation, his fellow Berklee College of Music instructor, banjo player Greg Liszt (Crooked Still, Deadly Gentlemen, Bruce Springsteen’s Seeger Sessions), and cellist Miranda Henne (Abigail Washburn, Rushad Eggleston, Mike Mills) joined him for this fun take on the old-time tune “Polly Put the Kettle On.” Bruce recorded Marcus Martin’s version of “Polly Put the Kettle On” for an upcoming Old-Time Fiddle lesson during this session, so stay tuned for that!
