Bruce Molsky was in the studio recently, recording lessons for his popular Old-Time Fiddle course on Peghead Nation. One of the lessons he recorded was on the tune “Fiddler’s Reel,” a nice straightforward dance tune in the key of D that is not very well known. Bruce’s sources for the tune are Round Peak fiddler Benton Flippen and Mike Bryant of the New Dixie Entertainers, and he plays the tune in this video.
