Peghead Nation fiddle instructor plays and sings an old-time song in the Peghead Parlor.
We had big fun at the Wintergrass Music Festival in Bellevue, Washington, earlier this year. During the weekend, we hosted the Peghead Parlor in our suite, where we had magical showcase performances by some of the Peghead Nation instructors who were at the festival. In this video, Peghead Nation fiddle instructor Bruce Molsky plays the old-time favorite “Train On the Island,” which he also teaches in his popular and long-running Old-Time Fiddle course.
This year’s Wintergrass festival included Peghead Nation instructors performing and teaching throughout the weekend, among them John Reischman, Bruce Molsky, Joe K. Walsh, Grant Gordy, and Brittany Haas.
