Double D Diatonic Shapes, Part 1: Chord Shapes
In this lesson, you’ll learn movable chord shapes in the key of D using dropped-D tuning and how to harmonize the D major scale with a different chord shape for every note of the scale. Then you’ll learn to apply them to a couple of tunes in D and its relative minor Bm, and how to use them to walk from one chord to another. Flynn starts by showing you the D major scale on the low D string.
