Taylor Next Generation 812ce

The latest version of a classic rosewood grand concert.

The 812 was one of the original Grand Concert models that Taylor introduced in 1984, making it one of the longest-running models in the company’s catalog. A favorite with fingerstyle players, the guitar has also found many friends among studio musicians, accompanists, and anyone looking for a comfortable guitar with a balanced tonality. Having introduced its Next Generation feature package on the Grand Auditorium line earlier this year, Taylor has now applied the Action Control neck, scalloped V-Class bracing, and new Claria pickup system to its Grand Concert models, and in this video, Peghead Nation’s Teja Gerken demonstrates the resulting Next Generation 812ce.
