Taylor Next Generation 512ce 12-Fret

An easy-playing grand concert built with mahogany and cedar.

The 12-fret versions of Taylor Grand Concert guitars are the latest models to receive the company’s “Next Generation” updates. Consisting of the Action Control neck, scalloped V-Class bracing, and the new Claria pickup, these features allow for easy action neck adjustments and make for richer tone both acoustically and when amplified. The first of the new 12-fret Grand Concerts we’ll preview are the mahogany and cedar 512ce 12-Fret and the 522ce 12-Fret. In this video, I demo the six-string 512 and give a short teaser of the 12-string 552, which we’ll cover in a separate demo.
