Taylor Gold Label 810e

A great fusion of Gold Label specs and one of Taylor’s most iconic dreadnoughts.

Taylor’s 810 was one of the first instruments to receive an actual model name in 1976 (before then, all Taylors were essentially custom builds). For decades, the 810 dreadnought and its variations was one of the company’s most iconic models, and Taylor recently reintroduced the original design as the Legacy Collection 810e. Taylor launched square-shoulder dreadnought versions of its Gold Label series earlier this year, and has now fused the classic 810 DNA with the more modern Gold Label features, resulting in a very cool Honduran rosewood dreadnought with a huge sound. I’ve played dozens of Taylor 810s over the last 30 years, so I had fun checking out the Gold Label 810e in the Peghead Nation video studio.
